Feb 18, 2016 - "Madi Davis, a top-six semi-finalist on NBC’s “The Voice,” will perform her first Texas concert since being on season nine of the show. In downtown Plano right across the street from Angela’s at the Crosswalk, Event1013, 1013 E. 15th St., will host Davis’ performance at 8 p.m. March 5.
In some ways, this is a full-circle moment as Angela’s is the venue she frequently performed before appearing on the show.
“We really appreciate this community,” said Wendy Walker Davis, Madi’s mother and manager. “When we got back, it took us a while to find a place that made the most sense for her to perform. Event1013 reached out and made the show possible. Great space and sound system.”
The 17-year-old singer-songwriter from McKinney will hold a VIP meet and greet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with VIP tickets at $50 and general admission at $15 per ticket. The event will include food and drinks, and early entrance allows access to early seating. VIP passes are limited, so they encourage interested parties to act while supplies lasts."
