J.A.R. Radio, Fishbowl Radio Network, Arlington, TX dedicated a full show to bring awareness to the reality of human trafficking in North Texas on February 3rd, 2015.
They invited FindUrVoice, Traffick 911 & Of Rocks and Roots to talk about how they are working together to bring awareness of Traffick 911. Every 30 seconds a new victim is put into human trafficking and only 1% of victims are ever saved, reports the A21 Campaign. According to Homeland Security, Texas is the #2 state for the trafficking of our children. FindUrVoice founding artist, Madi Davis, said “Human Trafficking is like Ebola” you don’t think it can happen to you. But after seeing “8 Days”(http://www.8daysfilm.org/) she felt the movie showed how it can happen to anyone. It solidified her commitment to FUV and empowered her to educate others to be safer online and to show them how to get involved. Find out how you to can be a voice for the voiceless. #FINDURVOICE >> Link to FindUrVoice Orgs Press Release | |
