Saturday August 6, 2016 Let the countdown begin! On Saturday, August 6, the Auxiliary Board of Shedd Aquarium will celebrate the 10th anniversary of BLU, its signature fundraising event. Don’t miss out on the summer’s hottest party—a night to enjoy the animals, gourmet restaurant samples and sips, dancing and fireworks on the lakefront terrace—plus a few surprises! BLU raises vital funds to support Shedd’s rescue and rehabilitation, conservation, and education initiatives, and there are many opportunities for you to give throughout the evening. Please consider making a contribution at BLU by raising your paddle during the show, participating in our Fund-a-Friend program, or bidding on a silent auction prize.
