Bonnie Irwin was at the Performing Writers Showcase my last visit to Nashville on June 11th, 2014. She had another showcase coming up in July and invited me to join her. It was a great excuse to head back to Nashville! I added another stop at Debi Champions Writers Night. Here is a little bit about each event.
Ri'chards Songwriter Night July 24th, 2014 - Richard's Louisiana Cafe in Whites Creek is at the crossroads of Whites Creek Pike & Old Hickory Blvd. "LIVE Music & DEAD Catfish" is the slogan. The owner Richard is a songwriter himself and plays a mean harmonica. The songwriter round consisted of Bonnie Irwin, Kate Hastings and myself. Very happy to have had a chance to experience Debi's Writers Night & Open Mic.
