| Coach Pharrell Williams paired Madi Davis against Sydney Rhame in the Battle Round of The Voice Season 9. They worked hard on their composition with harmonies and delivered a beautiful rendition of the song "Riptide" by Vance Joy. In the end Pharrell felt Madi Davis rose to the occasion and she moves on to Knockout Rounds. Unfortunately, there were no steals left for Sydney when they performed.
