Watching day turn to night
Watching flowers as they grow
Into other things

I left my home years ago
I don’t speak of it no more, no
I just lend a helping hand
to those in need
of a friend

Girl meets a boy, forgets her woes
And runs away into the night
The seed’s been sown
 
But, I’ve been on my own for, oh
About a million songs or so
Maybe I’m a shooting star
A UFO
