| Madi Davis was well received by the crowd and Judges at The Texas Legends -- Battle of the Legends and has moved on to the semi-finals round. This American Idol style competition was open to all musical artists -- solo to full band, acoustic to electronic. Hosted by Rock 101 Grill and the NBA D-League franchise, Texas Legends. The winner of the competition will receive the chance to record a five-song EP, plus the opportunity to perform live during halftime of a Legends game and the team's 2015 Freedom Fest. Madi competed week four of the competition on August 7th. The Judges that evening were Rick Da Woolf, partyinradio.com, Travis Blakeley, Texas Legends Senior Account Executive, and Clarke Wilcox, Music Manager. Mr. Wilcox started the judges comments on a positive note with, "I could cut hit records on that voice." Battle of the Legends judge, Rick Da Woolf, thought Madi's performance was "Controlled, Captured & Connected." She sang, Say Something & Latch and Travis Blakeley, Texas Legends Senior Account Executive and judge said that he thought Madi has "something really special. Something that transcended this stage."
