Interlochen Arts Academy, Interlochen, MI - After a full festival week, Madi Davis, Graduated from High School at Interlochen Arts Academy(IAA) May 26, 2017. There is a video archive of the full commencement ceremony online. We also have a shorter clip of graduation with Madi highlights.
IAA was founded in 1928 and is located in beautiful northwest Michigan. Each year, artists and arts patrons come to Interlochen to experience world-class educational and cultural opportunities. Students study music, theatre, visual arts, film, creative writing and dance, guided by an outstanding faculty and guest artists, and inspired by the scenic beauty of campus. Madi finished her High-School Experience in the IAA Contemporary Singer-Songwriter program with lead instructors, Courtney Kaiser-Sandler & Kyle Novy. She also enjoyed her private guitar lessons with instructor, Matthew Cochran. ​During IAA Festival Week Madi participated in the Guitar Recital, IAA Choir, Street Beat w/ Eddie Min & the Singer-Songwriter Recital where she debuted her original, Ann's Song.
