Madi Davis Wins The Voice Battle Round, Advances to Knockouts Round

Coach Pharrell Williams paired Madi Davis against Sydney Rhame in the Battle Round of The Voice Season 9. They worked hard on their composition with harmonies and delivered a beautiful rendition of the song "Riptide" by Vance Joy.

In the end Pharrell felt Madi Davis rose to the occasion and she moves on to Knockout Rounds. Unfortunately, there were no steals left for Sydney when they performed. The "Knockout Rounds" are next...tune in every Mon 7C & Tues 8C to watch how Madi does on her Voice journey.

The Battle Round was aired as a montage October 13th, 2015. The montage clip on The Voice's YouTube Channel and the recording is available on Apple Music and iTunes.

Task Force Forms to Fight Human Trafficking in Collin County, a new report by Chris Beattie, discusses how Human Trafficking is a problem - that exists right here in McKinney, TX.

Come on out this Sunday, February 8th to raise awareness of human trafficking here in North Texas. FindUrVoice(FUV) artists will be at Preston Trail Community Church in Frisco, TX this Sunday, February 8th, 2015 at 6pm.

Every 30 seconds a new victim is put into human trafficking and only 1% of victims are ever saved, reports the A21 Campaign. According to Homeland Security, Texas is the #2 state for the trafficking of our children. FUV founding artist, Madi Davis, said “Human Trafficking is like Ebola” you don’t think it can happen to you. But after seeing “8 Days” (http://www.8daysfilm.org/) she felt the movie showed how it can happen to anyone. It solidified her commitment to FUV and empowered her to educate others to be safer online and to show them how to get involved.

Ready for the Semi-Finals in the Battle of the Legends! - September 18th

Madi Davis was well received by the crowd and Judges at The Texas Legends -- Battle of the Legends and has moved on to the semi-finals round. This American Idol style competition was open to all musical artists -- solo to full band, acoustic to electronic. Hosted by Rock 101 Grill and the NBA D-League franchise, Texas Legends. The winner of the competition will receive the chance to record a five-song EP, plus the opportunity to perform live during halftime of a Legends game and the team's 2015 Freedom Fest.

Madi competed week four of the competition on August 7th. The Judges that evening were Rick Da Woolf, partyinradio.com, Travis Blakeley, Texas Legends Senior Account Executive, and Clarke Wilcox, Music Manager. Mr. Wilcox started the judges comments on a positive note with, "I could cut hit records on that voice."

Battle of the Legends judge, Rick Da Woolf, thought Madi's performance was "Controlled, Captured & Connected." She sang, Say Something & Latch and Travis Blakeley, Texas Legends Senior Account Executive and judge said that he thought Madi has "something really special. Something that transcended this stage."

Madi Davis' semi-finals round takes place at Rock 101, Thursday, September 18th, 2014. Rock 101 Grill is located at 2833 West Eldorado Parkway, Suite 301, in Frisco, TX. We hope to see you there!

One of the first concerts my fiance and I ever enjoyed was a Nelly Furtado concert, and she has the ability to take a song to a different level -- it seems rather innocent in its approach, but all of a sudden you find this moment where everyone just kind of shuts up and connects and listens for a minute; and you can do that with an audience and lady that is a special talent and I am excited for you. I am really excited for you."
