On the 23rd day of March, it's about time we spoke on time. Time is integral to music, and to every element of life. So little goes untouched by time. We aren't made of plastic after all. It sweetens, ferments, rots, and ends all while holding us in it's metaphorical hand. Without it, songs would be a rambling rhythm-less spectacle. Too difficult to follow, not worth our time. With that being said, I want to take this moment to thank you for spending your finite time on this earth reading this, and listening to these songs I compiled.

This playlist centers around time as more of a lyrical concept, and less of an element of music theory. I did think to add songs with odd or multiple time signatures, but I didn't have time (wink) to add them in. That's the beauty of the 23rd day, I can only do so much curation in a set time frame. Since releasing a playlist regularly is inherently time-aware, I'm sure I can revisit time in a different context down the line. For now, it's the language of time. Present simple and present perfect, present simple and present continuous, past simple and present perfect, past simple and past continuous, past simple and past perfect, etcetera etcetera.
